Getting an error tonight

Mike, I've gotten this error 4 times tonight. Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/group3b/domains/bloggingunderground.com/public_html/bu/bpu/post_process.php on line 351

Lol, need more memory or more speed or change the timeout limit. Personally I'd like to see more memory and more speed.

Oh, I also seem to have a bunch of posts, 14 I believe, stuck in pending for some reason or other.

We just found a solution this morning and it should be lightning fast now.

It's not out of memory - but rather has to do with processes stacking up and also sometimes one of the external servers will be down or rebooting or zombied out. BPU keeps trying every minute till it gets posted so sometimes the processes stack up and it does slow down.

That's why some posts get stuck in pending. We should have fixed all of them by now - if you still have some stuck in pending let me know.

Lol, hopefully one of these days you'll need a better, bigger, faster server with a ton more memory. Not a bad problem to have tho as it means more and more people are using the BPU and making more money.

Believe it or not I already have many servers for the BPU - some of which are already expanded out to the max - but yes - there is always an upgrade path to improve performance and that's a goo problem to have. It means something is happening which is generally good (unless it's spam of course).

Unfortuantely I'm still getting the timeout error. AhPoo I couldn't get a post to go thru at all for a long time. If it helps I get the error more on house sites than I do on user added sites.

Lol, you're gonna have to get one of them superfast servers. Heh, my 3 old servers would never do the job.

I just posted in ahpoo and it published immediately. I also 2 others today and many from yesterday. Can you try again? It seems fine as far as I can tell.

Figures, somedays when I tell people of problems, I feel like a woman taking her car to the mechanic. It almost always works for them. I'll send a support email next time. Thanks Mike.
