Hoe does Google treat No's in KW meta titles / serps?

Postby retroriver » Thu May 05, 2011 11:22 pm

Does anybody have any experience in how Google treat numbers which you may place in meta title/URL/description etc?

I have two KW exact phrases which have good monthly exact search terms used by users. Both start with '1st' as opposed to 'First'.

Google does seem to still display top results with '1st' but not overly prevalent - some but not as many as I would expect.

Do you think that this could be because SEO webmasters don't believe Google treat them well so don't bother with publishing pages with '1st'?

It is a niche question I realize but it does account for 1500ish exact phrases pm so if any one has any experience with numbers would love to hear your thoughts. I will test anyway and report back in a few weeks.

Thanks. Paul
