A question about the blogs

Postby mickd » Mon Oct 31, 2011 6:44 am

Hi everyone,

im a bit of a newbie to this and was wondering after looking through a lot of the blogs, that even though they are very old ie: 5, 8, and 10 years or so and have 100's or even 1000's of articles these sites have a pr0 on the index page, so my question is how can you get a high pr on your site, and to help me understand why do so many of these sites have zero pr, even thought they have so much content. I also noticed that a lot of the blogs seem to be article directories, so i guess my question is whats the difference between submiting my articles to BU blogs like these article blogs and submiting my articles to article directories. is it the same, or is it better to submit to the BU/ article directory type blogs and if so why

thanks in advance

eager to learn and understand

how can you get a high pr on your site

You do not need high PageRank to rank high on Google - in fact they have been targeting high profile high PR sites in their algo updates and using them as examples of listings that don't deserve to be on top just because of pr. Those sites with high PR have been hurt the most. 8-)

I personally do not focus on the PageRank and am not concerned with that as much as other factors.

There are a lot of different systems out there to get top rankings.

My system focuses on getting relevant links from within the content and doing things the right way.

If you do things the right way you can rank higher than sites who may have more PageRank in the toolbar and also stay on top longer.

I've learned that it is easier to focus on relevance than playing the PR game as that can get you in trouble.

There are downsides to submitting to article directories and upsides. Plus a lot of them like ezinearticles have bee slapped pretty hard and are not worth as much as they used to be.

The BU blogs are better in a lot of ways and allow us to do it the right way to get rankings and it's fast and easy.

Submitting to directories is more tedious, takes longer, has less benefits and can get you in trouble. 8-)
