My Income Goal

Postby rogern » Thu Sep 22, 2011 2:09 pm

OK, I finished going over the 12 steps second time.
Finished my test site, which will be further developed as one of my passive income earning sites from this point on.

I wanted to publicly announce my income goal here in the forum, which I think is a good way to hold myself accountable and to help focus on what matters.

My Income Goal: $6,000 / month
By building 40 BU sites that each make $150 / month, $5 / day.

Each site consists of 15pages or more, and all 40 sites & basic BU linking(15 or more) to be completed by Dec-31st.

Will report back here as i progress, wish me luck~

Hi, Aaron,

Thanks for showing interests in my little project.
The last few months has been crazier than i planned. Too much partying and traveling..

Anyways, i am back on track more focused than ever, but with some modification to my initial goal. i am now working on build 10 BU sites by end of Jan-2012. My neglected test site with halfassed BU links is still ranking on page one for my main keyword and few related keywords as well since July. So i know the system works. Now it's time to rinse and repeat.

I have to admit though, sometimes i still get distracted by other monetization methods, but NOT by over-hyped garbages anymore. so actually, it's not a distraction, but another learning curve.. like how to write a good sales copy, how to optimize my landing pages, creating infographics.. etc. As i am working on new BU sites, many ideas are popping up in terms of how i can diversify the monetization of my BU sites later on.

I wanted to post updates before end of 2011, but looks like it will have to be early 2012.

Everyone should read this by John Carlton. It's about setting goals and the best way to set and make your goals. http://www.john-carlton.com/ it's called "The Rant" for some reason.

No, New Years resolutions and setting goals are not the same thing. Go read the article and find out how much it can help you. If you do it, it will help, I guarantee it.

Lol, Mike, this is another of those email lists I'll probably never remove myself. I plan on writing down all of my goals for 2012 this afternoon. Easy to do it today as I'm not a football fan. Nor baseball, hockey, golf, basketball and wrestling. I am a fan of NASCAR but that's not a distraction until Feb.
